Although our cats have been very successful in the showring our priority is to breed strong, healthy kittens with exceptional temperaments. They have been reared in our home, used to the everyday noises and coming and goings in a busy household, with lots of socialisation and handling so they are very friendly, people orientated cats, full of fun.
“Willochra kittens” make wonderful family pets as they are so affectionate, with
the playful, inquisitive, loving Burmese temperament. Our kittens will come to strangers, purring loudly as they snuggle into laps or make their way onto shoulders so they are as close as possible to their new human friends. Our males are equally as affectionate as females, a little larger and sometimes slightly more laid-back.

Much is made of the Burmese “dog-like “ nature, as they are so playful, often loving to retrieve balls and toys, easily and happily adjusting to walking on a harness outside. Some of our ”mums” will carry soft balls or other toys to their babies very early and kittens enjoy these games as they become older.
We only sell our kittens to indoor homes where they will be a much-loved part of the family. Our Burmese are so trusting they can be at risk of being stolen as they will happily go to strangers. Also they have no road sense at all and often have so much confidence some could approach strange dogs, expecting the warm welcome given by our own poodles. indoor cats are protected from disease and cat fights, while wildlife is also protected from stalking cats.
We have received wonderful letters, phone calls and photos from the new owners of Willochra kittens and many friendships have been formed. They often refer to how easily they have fitted into families with existing cats & dogs. We are happy to forward these recommendations .
