The 10 Burmese Cat Colours using Willochra cats & kittens as examples
Brown was the original burmese colour. Adults should be an even, rich, warm or seal brown, shading to a lighter tone on the underparts. Both nose leather and paw pads are brown. Their eyes are deep to golden yellow.

Adult should be silvery grey with a silvery sheen on the feet, face and ears. A slightly darker shade is allowed on the back and the tail, the underparts should be paler. The nose leather is dark grey and the paw pads are pinkish grey. The eyes are deep to golden yellow. Kittens eyes are blue but change to the golden yellow burmese colour.

The adult chocolate Burmese should be a warm milk chocolate all over with darker shading allowed on the face, tail, feet and ears. The nose leather is a warm chocolate brown with eyes deep to golden yellow.

The adult colour should be a delicate dove grey with a pinkish tinge. The ears and mask are slightly darker. The nose leather and paw pads are lavender pink. The eyes are deep to golden yellow.

Here at Willochra we breed all Burmese colours but specialise in the “O gene” colours, gorgeous reds, creams and “naughty Tortie” Tortoiseshell girls.
Better described as light tangerine to apricot in colour. The ears are slightly darker, nose leather and paw pads are pink and eyes are deep to golden yellow.
These kittens are from Willochra’s Gold, Double Grand Champion Malingbu Red Carlo (Romeo). He produces stunning red girls in many litters.
Adult cream Burmese are a rich cream colour with slightly darker ears. The nose leather and paw pads are pink, again eyes are deep to golden yellow.

Theses dramatic “Torties” have intermingled brown, red and cream patches. Their nose leather and paw pads are plain or blotched brown and pink and eyes are deep to golden yellow.

The blue “Tortie” Burmese have blue and cream intermingled patches, with nose leather and paw pads plain or blotched dark grey and pink. As with all colours, the adult eyes are deep to golden yellow.
